Pre - Christmas Season Taffeta

Following my previous post, you fashion bunnies will be undoubtedly aware of my love for the taffeta midi; particularly for the christmas season. And here she is.

The Topshop ensemble is a staple for your wardrobe. The fabric's seriously light weight make for seriously easy wear, yet it is far from thin, so don't hold back ladies; this is the perfect midi to team with a thick jumper or other weather appropriate top. I've paired mine with some basic black cotton apparel.

Black is a sure palette for contrasting with the rich, almost sapphire blue. Topshop also stocked the midi in a royal purple, and a fabulous Chartreuse which are perfect for swapping the tights and black Gwenda's for a pair of Zara barely there's and pastel shade top. Tucked in, of course.

This is a look strictly for the evening, and so conservative that your Grandmother may even consider selling her prosthetic leg for. The co-ordinating clutch is admittedly, 'matchy matchy', but releases the intensity of the midi as being your stand out asset, propping you at the christmas party as the Harrods bauble every female is after. Too glam to give a damn.

Think 50's, because this trend has been inspired, taken and even plagiarised from the era. Throw on a printed t-shirt and a black cropped leather jacket and you're merely portraying Frenchie in Grease, taking you from Winter to Spring.

Coming in at £48 this midi is an absolute STEAL. Your money will also be handed back to you when you receive the many compliments I did from wearing it. It's adaptability to both casual and dressier top's and accessories also make it a day - night chameleon.

I feel feminine, I feel classy and most importantly I feel comfortable. The last of the midi are well and truly into the sales, could it BE  a more justified purchase ladies?!
